Chris Waller has trained his first Rosehill Guineas winner as D'Argento outstayed his rivals in the three-year-old Classic.
Given a midfield run by jockey Hugh Bowman, D'Argento chimed in widest in the straight to beat New Zealand Derby winner Vin De Dance and stablemate Tangled.
D'Argento is now one of the favourites for the ATC Australian Derby with Bowman saying he would recommend the colt head towards the 2400m race.
