Leading Sydney jockeys Hugh Bowman, Corey Brown and Kerrin McEvoy are set to represent Australia in a jockeys challenge in Singapore.

The Premier Gateway International Jockeys Challenge will be held at Kranji on September 25.

Bowman, Brown and McEvoy will take on a team from the UK comprised of Hayley Turner, Robert Havlin and PJ McDonald and a team from South Africa, likely to be Lyle Hewitson, Muzi Yeni and Greg Cheyne, with final selection to be made on the standings at the end of the season.

The final group will be team Asia with Joao Moreira to be joined by two yet to be named Singapore riders.

Moreira first gained international fame riding in Singapore before moving to Hong Kong in 2013 and recently started riding in Japan.
