Betstar is a solid option if you are looking for a new betting site to sign up too, they are owned by Ladbrokes who are one of the biggest betting agencies in the world and have established themselves here in Australia over the last few years and why not being one of the European powerhouses in the betting world.

Betstar are another small Australian online betting site that has been snapped up by the European giant Ladbrokes and with Betstar also using the same interface and mobile app as their bigger sister site they are well worth having a look at if you like Ladbrokes.
One drawback to Betstar is that they do not offer as much in regards weekly specials. Again along with Bookmaker it may well only be a matter of time before they are integrated into their bigger sister site.
Betting Man Opinion
The Betstar interface is an excellent design and they have made their betting site easy to navigate even for the novice punter.
Betstar has a simple layout and the colour scheme is pleasing on the eye.
The main menu bar at the top of the page consists of eight tabs for quick navigation to the days horse racing cards and sporting events (one of the only sites to section off the sports and racing panels which makes the screen less busy but only a click away to the sports).
The next tab takes you to the Novelties section that consists of out of the normal betting such as elections and entertainment.
A dedicated promotions tab takes you to all the current offers Betstar have running, I will talk about these in the promotions section.
The next tab takes you to the How To section which is a must for any online betting site to help new account holders learn the ropes.
Betstar have an extensive how to section and they have pretty much everything covered.
They explain about their products and how to use them including the Betstar Visa card, depositing with Neteller and then the Bet Quiz.
Betstar launched their ATM card back in 2014 and at the time it was a masterstroke marketing ploy.
The like of this hadn't been seen in Australia before and the betting public loved the fact you could place a bet and collect your winnings just after the result.
It's a great resource if your out down your local watering hole as you now don't have to bet with the TAB or on the Tote you can use your mobile, get a fixed price and collect within minutes.
The last tab takes you to the Contact Us page which is featured below in our customer service section.
Once you login to Betstar your My Account tab will also appear and it gives you quick access to numerous things including, pending bets, deposits and withdrawals.
Betstar Form Guide
Betstar have kept their form guide nice and simple in one section but they also offer a full form breakdown if you click on the placing numbers before the horses name.
If you click the horses name then a simple form guide will appear and is easy to follow with enough information for you to be more informed.
The Betstar form guide has the horses progeny, age, trainer and jockey with a brief runner comment from their expert.
There is a nice one click feature that allows all the comments and the simple form to appear just by clicking the 'Show All Runner Comments link'.
Career prize money, runs, last six and last fifteen races are also shown along with track, ground and distance stats.
Betstar also include two graphs in their form guide for career percentage of win/place and any price fluctuations since betting opened.
Betstar are one of the few online Betstars to have a form guide for harness racing.
Betstar have both Andriod and iPhones apps and both are top notch.
The Betstar mobile app is easy to use and is one of the best mobile betting apps out there.
Betstar update their mobile app software as technology changes so you never miss a beat.
One feature that Betstar have over some other betting sites is their 'Quick Bet' slip which really helps when betting using a mobile app.

Betstar being a sister site of Ladbrokes is a solid option for any punter, not as many bells and whistles as Ladbrokes but the betting site and app run off the same software so the performance is sound.
If you are entitled to some of the promotions then Betstar is well worth signing up too.
