Port Adelaide 2.05 v Richmond 1.75
TIP - Margin Richmond 1-24 @
Port after winning three of their last four suffered a heartbreaking defeat last week narrowly losing out in a thriller to Hawthorn 64-61 and with teams above them all winning it will be a bitter blow to their top eight aspirations.
After starting the game well taking a 24 point lead into the second term the Power saw their lead whittled away and by half time the game was level, the game them ebbed and flowed with neither team able to break away and it could have gone either way at the death.
Richmond made light work of the Bombers last week soundly beating them 114-43 in a very one sided game from the off, the game was always under control after the Tigers started well taking a 25 point lead into the first break and it was a cake walk from there on in.
Josh Caddy starred for the Tigers kicking 4.0 to help them to their ninth win of the season and maintain second spot on the ladder.
Verdict - I think that Richmond will win this but it will not be so one sided as their last outing, Richmond to kick on in the second half and win.

Geelong 1.45 v North Melbourne 2.75 - BEST BET
TIP - Margin Geelong 25+ @
The Cats made it four wins from their last five last weekend when they travelled up to the Gold Coast to play the out of form Suns, after a tight first term the Cats stormed away in the second quarter kicking 7.6 while the Suns could only register a single behind.
The game finished 121-36 improving their percentage enough to leapfrog the Kangaroos and move them up to 5th on the ladder with the top four still well within reach.
North Melbourne have also won four out of their last five games after beating the Lions 141-87 at the Etihad Stadium last week in a one sided affair.
North started well kicking 5.7 in the first term and keeping the Lions to a mere four points the game was pretty much in the bag.
Verdict - Two in form teams and this should be a cracker, on that basis I will take the Cats at home to come out on top.
GWS Giants 1.13 v Gold Coast 6.00
TIP - Margin GWS Giants 40+ @
Finally after such a poor run for the Giants they notched up a much needed victory against the Crows last weekend coming out on top 97-81 in a game that could have gone either way in the final term.
With them beating the Crows and the Power losing to the Hawks the Giants are right back in the mix only two points behind eighth place, how important will those two points for the draw be come the end of the season is the question!!
Another thumping loss for the Suns last weekend when Geelong came to visit, after a close first term the game was all but over by half time as the Cats started to run riot.
With only three wins on the board this season the Suns are looking more and more likely to miss the finals unless something dramatic happens in the coming week.
Verdict - After their win last weekend GWS can get their season back on track with another win here and with the Suns in free fall they should make it two on the spin.
St Kilda 4.85 v Sydney 1.18
TIP - Margin Sydney 40+ @
St Kilda were always going to be up against it last weekend travelling to WA to take on the Eagles and as the form book suggested it was the home side who came out on top.
The game finished 101-88 to the Eagles, it was looking like another landslide but the Saints finished strong in the last term to make the score respectable.
Sydney made it four wins on the bounce as expected when they beat Carlton 91-61 at the SCG last weekend but it wasn't the one sided affair most expected.
The game was very much in the balance at half time with the Blues two points to the good but the Swans showed their class in the second half to pull away and win well.
Verdict - The Swans should extend their winning sequence here and the Saints will need to play the sort of footy they did in last weeks final term if they are not to get a flogging.
Sunday 10th June 2018
Brisbane 2.25 v Essendon 1.65
TIP - Margin Brisbane 1-24 @
After several solid performances the Lions suffered another big defeat last week when they took on the Kangaroo's at the Etihad Stadium.
The game finished 141-87 with the Lions always on the back foot after a slow start ad it will be a performance they will want to forget.
Essendon after notching up two victories in previous weeks hosted the Tigers last week and their previous frailties were once again on show as they went down 114-43.
With all the teams above them in the top eight winning they now find themselves eight points adrift of the finals berths so a win here is a must for them.
Verdict - Forget last weeks performance by the Lions, I am going to take a punt that they can bounce back and collect a much needed win here.
Fremantle 2.55 v Adelaide 1.50
TIP - Margin Adelaide 25+ @
The Dockers suffered another defeat last weekend this time at the hands of the Pies at the MCG, the game finished 138-77 and was pretty much over at half time.
Only one win from their last five has the Dockers struggling down in 13th place on the ladder and they really need to find some form if they are to at least put themselves in a position to challenge the top eight.
Adelaide suffered somewhat of a shock defeat last weekend when they out of form Giants took a much needed victory 97-81 at the Adelaide Oval.
That loss pushes the Crows outside the top eight due to an inferior percentage so they will need to get back on track here and put another W in the column.
Verdict - The Crows should win this one, they have the better form coming into the match and I will take them to win and win well.
Monday 11th June 2018
Melbourne 1.64 v Collingwood 2.25
TIP - Margin Melbourne 25+ @ - BEST BET
Another win for the Demons last weekend beating the Doggies 100-51, the Demons started slowly but by half time had taken the lead which was comfortably maintained until the final whistle.
Melbourne have put themselves right in the mix with their recent run sitting in third on the ladder, more of the same will surely bring finals football this season and from then on in you never know!!
Collingwood made it back to back wins when beating Fremantle 138-77 at the MCG last weekend to maintain their position in the top eight.
After a slow start the Pies were soon in the ascendancy and always looked like taking the four points, Will Hoskin-Elliott starred for the Pies kicking 6.0.
Verdict - Melbourne are playing some really good stuff this season and I expect them to continue their solid form here.
