Head To Head - Round 4 Hawthorn 115-46 Melbourne
Hawthorn always struggled last weekend against Richmond but as the Hawks so often do they managed to keep in touch with last years champions going in only 14 points down at half time.
Richmond piled on the pressure from the off in the second half and the ageing Hawks team started to look a little tired and eventually succumbed to a 95-64 defeat.
Melbourne had to win their clash against Geelong to progress and they did just that winning the game comfortably 75-46 thanks to a first quarter masterclass which saw the Demons go into the first break 31 points to the good.
In a low scoring game the Demons controlled proceedings from then on playing some tough footy which limited the Cats ability to counter, perfect tactics that saw the Demons progress in their first finals appearance in 12 years.
Verdict - Yes the Hawks took a beating last weekend but their dominance in round 4's clash cannot be overlooked, 50-50 game for me and Melbourne look way too short in the odds department so I'll side with the Hawks.

Head To Head - Round 4 Collingwood 79-95 GWS
Collingwood gave the Eagles a real run for their money on the road last weekend but ran out of steam in the last term eventually losing the game 86-70.
The Magpies went into the final term leading by ten but West Coast piled on the pressure and scored five goals in the last term, second chance here for Collingwood but they cannot afford to lose again.
GWS saved one of their best efforts of the season for last weeks clash against their Sydney rivals and thumped the Swans 79-30 at the SCG, Toby Greene led the way finishing with 3.3 for the game.
They will need to be at their best again here if they are to progress to the Preliminary Final, travelling to Melbourne will not help but they will be on a high still from last week.
Verdict - Should be a close game and it may well depend on who comes out of the gates better, home ground advantage may well be the key, Collingwood the pick.
