Saturday 10th March
Manchester United v Liverpool
Tough game to call this one with both teams coming into it in good form.
Man Utd came back from the dead against a resilient Crystal Palace last out and would have been very happy to take away three points from Selhurst Park after trailing 2-0.
Mourinho’s men dug deep and their work effort paid off with goals from Smalling, Lukaku and a last minute winner from man of the match Matic sealing the victory.
Liverpool made light work of a struggling Newcastle outfit at Anfield last time out winning comfortably 2-0 making it 13 points from their last five games, only two points behind their opponents in this fixture.
Liverpool booked their spot in the last eight of the Champions League during the week while Man Utd face a tricky home leg after this after a goalless draw in the first leg against Sevilla.
It may well be a case of resting any player that may be doubtful for that fixture for Man Utd.
Verdict - This derby is either a barnstormer full of goals or a dull as watching paint dry and i think this one may be the latter with both teams having one eye on the Champions League and safely in the top four in the league will turn this one into a stalemate.
Home 2.50 - Draw 3.10 - Away 2.63
Everton v Brighton and Hove Albion
Before 'Big Sam' took the reigns at Goodison Park Everton were struggling and in the bottom three and now they sit in 11th seven points clear of the drop zone.
Most Toffee's fans are still not to happy in the way the season has panned out. Big money signings in the off season have still not managed to gel together and while they sometimes show what they are capable of they are very sporadic at best.
Everton come into this fixture of too poor performances losing to both Watford and Burnley respectively and they will know that these are the games they should be winning if front of their home support.
Everton could still end up in the dog fight at the bottom of the table if they do not turn their fortunes around quickly but on the flip side a couple of wins on the bounce would see them pretty much safe for another year.
Brighton have hit a nice purple patch in recent weeks taking eleven points from their last five games moving them up to 10th in the table.
Chris Hughton was full of praise for his team after their excellent performance against Arsenal last time out as they beat the under pressure Gunners 2-1 at home.
Brighton have scored twelve goals in their last four home games if you include their 3-1 FA Cup victory over Coventry but they do seem to struggle away and ship more goals and they will need to improve on the road this week.
Verdict - Brighton although in good form are not a side that strings too many games together and with Everton being at home they will want to put things right after two poor efforts. I don't think there will be many goals in this one but Everton to edge it for me.
Home 2.10 - Draw 3.00 - Away 3.50
Under 2.5 Goals 1.52
Huddersfield Town v Swansea City
Huddersfield although losing two two of their last four fixtures they will be thinking the glass is more half full than empty as they lost to who you would expect them to lose too in Spurs and Man Utd and claimed six valuable points against teams that are struggling around them.
Although they are only three points off the drop zone they will know a good run of form right about now will put them in a great position to stay in the Premier League for another year.
Only six points separates them from the top ten so it will be games like these that they will be focusing on and more determined to get a result against a a fellow struggling team at home.
Swansea have really turned the corner under new manager Carlos Carvalhal picking up 17 points from his nine matches in charge and it has seen the swiftly rise up the table from bottom place into a respectable 13th as it stands.
Swansea's last away game saw them thumped by Brighton 4-1 and they also put a lackluster performance in away in the FA Cup when they could only manage a draw against Championship strugglers Shef Wednesday.
Verdict - I think this one will be tight, although Swansea have scored a few goals of late they may well find the Huddersfield defence hard to break down, this one just has a draw written all over it.
Home 2.30 - Draw 3.00 - Away 2.88
Under 2.5 Goals 1.50 - Best Bet
Newcastle United v Southampton
Newcastle once again put another lackluster performance in last week when they made the trip to Anfield going down 2-0 which means they slip another place down to 16th due to Swansea winning.
Rapha Benitez will have to find a way to get them back on track and more to the point teaching them how to hold onto a lead after they have led in three of their last four games only to concede late on.
Southampton are another team in free fall and find themselves in a relegation scrap that will take a lot of resolve from both players and management if they are to conjure a way to stay up.
Verdict - This one could well go either way but Newcastle have played a little better over the last few weeks than what their results have indicated to slight preference is for them with home ground advantage.
Home 2.63 - Draw 3.00 - Away 2.80
West Bromwich Albion v Leicester City
The Baggies are in deep deep trouble after losing five on the bounce and it seems that the change of management wasn't such a good move after all with Alan Pardew struggling to get his team to perform to the standard they need to.
There was speculation that a defeat last week would see Pardew out but that was not the case and maybe he and his players may take that as a sign of confidence from the board that they could still yet turn things around.
Leicester are one of the teams that are in no mans land, sat on 37 points they are pretty much assured Premier League football next season.
Leicester also know that they are pretty much just playing the season out as they are too far behind the teams in front of then to challenge for a European spot next season.
Verdict - It looks a tight game on paper and it would not surprise me if this ends up 0-0 but I am going to stick my neck out and plump for the home side.
Home 2.80 - Draw 3.00 - Away 2.40
Under 2.5 Goals 1.64
West Ham United v Burnley
The Hammers have under performed once again this season and after the sacking of their manager Slaven Bilic it was down to David Moyes to try and steer the ship in the right direction.
West Ham were terrible last week against Swansea going down 4-1, that score flattered the Hammers and another performance like that will once again see them suffer defeat.
Burnley after a tough run of fixtures and some injury problems find themselves at the target they would have probably set themselves at the beginning of the season, the holy grail of 40 points.
With survival assured the Claret and Blue army can enjoy the rest of the season in the knowledge that they will be up against the big boys next year once more.
Verdict - West Ham have been atrocious the past few weeks and it wouldn't take much of a performance from Burnley to take the three points and at good odds too.
Home 2.10 - Draw 2.88 - Away 3.40
Chelsea v Crystal Palace
There will not be many times that this is written, Chelsea have lost four of their last five Premier League matches and we know one thing for sure, they will not defend their title this season.
The other pressing matter is will they even qualify for next seasons Champions League as they now find themselves five points behind fourth place.
Chelsea may well have to win this years Champions League if they want to be playing in it next season and with that in mind they may well est a few players here before the daunting trip to Spain to play Barcelona.
Palace have only taken two points from their last five matches and they will be kicking themselves this week after letting a two goal advantage slip away against Man Utd last time out.
Roy Hodgson will need to come up with something special if they are to avoid the drop but they may well look at this one as an opportunity to take some points with the circumstances as they are.
Verdict - Chelsea may well only play their second string but they should still have enough in the locker to take the three points here.
Home 1.28 - Draw 5.00 - Away 10.00
Sunday 11th March
Arsenal v Watford
The cries for Wenger out get stronger and stronger each week, after losing the micky mouse cup final to Man City 3-0 they were once again taken apart by the same team only a few days later with result mirroring the cup final at 3-0.
If that wasn't enough for the Wenger out brigade then the 2-1 loss away to Brighton last time out has only made more of a case for the legend to hand up his boots as they say.
Watford have managed to win their last two fixtures which pretty much puts them safe for another season sitting on 36 points. They are not playing attractive football but they are a team who know how to get the job done when it matters.
Verdict - Although Arsenal have been out of sorts they are a team as we know that on their day they are unplayable, maybe this week will be one of those days and give Arsene a little breathing space., home win for me.
Home 1.45 - Draw 4.33 - Away 5.50
Bournemouth v Tottenham Hotspur
After snatching a point in the dying minutes against Newcastle the show was on the other foot for Bournemouth last week as it was their turn to concede a last goal.
Bournemouth gave a cheap free kick away seven minutes into added time and Mahrez for Leicester duly punished them with a superb low effort around the wall.
With them only sitting five points outside the relegation zone those lost points may well be a factor at the tail end of the season.
Spurs have been in and out the last couple of week picking up results with poor performances but that is what the good teams are supposed to do isn't it?
They will come here still in shock after their Champions League exit this week at the hands of Juventus after scoring first in the home leg which meant they could afford to concede a goals and still progress.
Juventus had other ideas though and after putting pressure on Spurs the scored their equaliser and Tottenham then went to pieces, as we say in the UK their arses started to twitch at 1-1 and that was their downfall.
Spurs may well come here and give Bournemouth a hiding but I think they will still be feeling Wednesday nights game and that will be enough for Bournemouth to take something out of the game.

Monday 12th March
Stoke City v Manchester City
Stoke are struggling, second from bottom and struggling to come up with three points week in week out. Their overall for lately hasn't been that bad losing only once from their last six game the problem is scoring goals.
Stoke have never been a flamboyant team and they are never going to set the world on fire with their brand of football but if you play this way you have to keep clean sheets and Stoke just cannot achieve this at the moment.
Nothing really to say about Man City apart from they are head and shoulders the best team in Europe right at this moment.
Verdict - Should be a landslide for the visitors and they are scoring for fun and this could well be another cricket score.
