Dell Technologies Championship 2018 - Preview
Justin Thomas (11.00) won this event last year by three shots from Jordon Spieth (21.00) and he will be hoping to go back to back after some impressive performances in recent weeks.
Aussie Marc Leishman (51.00) finished third last year four shots adrift after carding a disappointing 70 in his final round after being joint leader going into the final day.
Paul Casey (51.00) will be one to watch after finishing 4th last year and second in 2016, the Englishmen is playing well at the moment as is coming back to his best after several poor seasons.
Below are the current favourites for the event and their recent form coming in:
Dustin Johnson - 9.00
PGA Form - Number one in the world and ranked number two in the FedEx rankings for 2018 Dustin has had a fine season winning three times on the PGA Tour and he has amassed ten top 10 finishes.
Not at his best in his last couple of tournaments finishing 27th and 11th but he rarely puts in a bad performance these days and will be there or there about's no doubt come Sunday.
Justin Thomas - 11.00
PGA Form - Three wins for Justin this season and nine top 10 finishes, he has finished inside the top ten in his last three tournaments winning one The World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational.
He has form here winning last years event so he has everything going for him to make it back to back wins here this week.
Brooks Koepka - 13.00
PGA Form - Two wins this season on tour including a major The PGA Championships only a few weeks ago, six top tens from only twelve starts he is certainly having a season to remember.
Three top 10 finishes in his last three PGA events so no worries about his current form and he had a solid tournament here last year finishing inside the top 20.
Rory Mcllroy - 17.00
PGA Form - Indifferent season for Rory on the PGA Tour this season winning once and he has five top 10's to his name from 15 events played.
Sound form coming in with three top tens in his last four tournaments and although he performed poorly here missing the cut last year he did win this back in 2016
Now lets look for some value, a few with decent form coming in to this week and a few that have performed well here in the past.
Kevin Na - 67.00
Tied 6th last year and already a winner on tour this season, he has finished in the top 20 in both of his last two tournaments.
Patrick Reed - 34.00
Finished tied 6th in this last year, tied 5th in 2016 and tied 4th back in 2015, the form suggests he likes the course and may well be one to follow.
Bryson Dechambeau - 34.00
Won last weeks Northern Trust event by four shots which was his second PGA Tour event win of the season, eight top 10 finishes has seen him climb to 12th ranked player in the world and currently he heads the FedEx cup rankings.
Paul Casey - 51.00
Not the best form coming in but he has shown glimpses of his best this season, he has won already on tour winning the Valspar Championship back in March and he goes well here.
