The Tour Championship 2018 - Preview

Keegan Bradley (51.00) took out the BMW Championships a few weeks ago and he will be looking to carry his form into the final event of the season, can he do what Bryson DeChambeau (21.00) did not so long ago and take out back to back events to lift the FedEx Cup?

The tournament looks very open with many of the field having a live chance, last years winner Xander Schauffele (34.00) will be looking to become the first back to back winner while ex winners Rory Mcllroy (10.00), Tiger Woods (15.00) and Billy Horschel (29.00) like Xander will hope to become the first player to win the FedEx Cup on two separate occasions.

Whatever happens I am sure there will be a few ups and downs over the four days, can someone get off to a blistering start and keep the pack at bay or will it be a late surge from one of the field that takes them to glory?

Below are the current favourites for the event and their recent form coming in:

Dustin Johnson - 9.00

PGA Form - Unbelievable season for Dustin with three wins, two second place finishes, two third place finishes and eleven top 10's from only 19 tournaments played.

Only 24th in the BMW last time out after a slow start, if he gets away quickly he will be the one to beat this week.

Justin Rose - 9.00

PGA Form - Two wins, three second place finishes and one third place finish with ten top 10's from 17 starts, a great season for the Englishman has seen him rise to number one in the world.

Following his second place finish at the Dell Tech Justin maintained his for last time out finishing second once again the BMW, out of the favourites he has the best form coming in and looks set to be a major player.

Rory Mcllroy - 10.00

PGA Form - Only one win, one second place finish and six top 10's for Rory this season from 17 events has seen him slip down to 6th ranked player in the world.

Fifth last time out at the BMW and the Irishman has four top ten finishes in his last six events, not firing on all cylinders but not far away, if he puts well he will be right in the mix this week.

Justin Thomas - 12.00

PGA Form - Three wins, one second place finish and nine top 10's for Justin from 22 starts has seen him rise to 4th ranked player in the world this year.

Tied 12th last time out at the BMW and failed to finish in side the top 20 in the Dell Tech, he's been having a few issues with the putter of late which is unusual for him, if he gets it going again the rest better watch out.

Now lets look for some value, a few with decent form coming in to this week and a few that have performed well here in the past.

Tiger Woods  - 15.00

The great man is back, the first ever winner of the FedEx Cup back in 2007 will be looking to make this season a dream return after so many issues with injury, tied 6th last time out at the BWM.

Xander Schauffele - 34.00

Surprise winner last year and once again this year has pretty much gone under the radar, decent odds for a man that has already won round here.

Paul Casey - 41.00

Withdrew from the BMW which is a little concerning but he has a decent record around here finishing in the top five the past three years, horses for courses as they say, keep an eye on the Englishman once again.

The Tour Championship 2018 Tips

Paul Casey - Win @ 41.00 Top 5 @ 7.00

May spring a surprise this week, he loves it around here and at decent odds is well worth a punt.

Justin Rose - Win @ 9.00

Has the form coming into this with two second place finishes in recent weeks, he is due a win and it may well be this week.
