FRIDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER 2018
Eagles 1.71 v Falcons 2.18
TIP - Under 45.5 Points @ 1.90
TIP - Eagles 7-12 @ 5.60
Head to Head - Eagles 15-10 Jan 2018, Eagles 24-15 Nov 2016, Falcons 26-24 Sept 2015
The Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC East last season with an impressive 13-3 record but they may find things a little tougher this season with every team looking to get one over on last years Superbowl winners.
The Eagles had some tough games pre-season losing three (Browns, Patriots, Steelers) and winning only once against the Jets so they may well be feeling a little bit of pressure after last seasons heroics.
Atalanta Falcons could only finish third in the NFC South with a 10-6 record last season but it was enough to gain a wildcard into the playoffs, after winning their wild card playoff against the Rams they were dumped out by the Eagles 15-10 in the divisional playoffs so they will be hoping to gain a little revenge this week.
The Falcons have lost all four of their pre-season games (Jets, Chiefs, Jaguars, Dolphins) so there is a little pressure on the team from the outset to start the season well, tough ask first up on the road.
Verdict - Not much between the two in recent meetings so the market is priced accordingly, I'll take the Eagles to get off to a winning start.
MONDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER 2018
Giants 2.44 v Jaguars 1.58
TIP - Over 44 Points @ 1.89
TIP - Jaguars 13+ @ 4.20
Head to Head - Giants 22-12 Aug 2015, Jaguars 25-24 Nov 2014, Jaguars 32-31 Aug 2012
A poor season for the New York Giants last year finishing bottom of the NFC East division with a poor 3-13 record and they will be hoping for better things this season.
The Giants have looked a better team than last year in pre-season winning two (Jets, Lions) and losing two, one narrowly against the Patriots which could have been expected but their other loss against the Browns may be of some concern.
Jacksonville Jaguars won the AFC South last season with a 10-6 record and advanced to the playoffs were they beat the Bills and the Steelers only to lose the AFC Conference Championship game to the Patriots 24-20.
Pre-season the Jaguars have looked good winning three out of their four games played (Vikings, Falcons, Buccaneers) with their only loss coming against the Saints in a 24-20 defeat, they should be challenging again this year.
Verdict - The Giants will need to be at their best just to compete so I expect the Jaguars to get off to a good start and win this one well.

Patriots 1.36 v Texans 3.25
TIP - Over 50.5 Points @ 1.92
TIP - Patriots 13+ @ 2.82 - BEST BET
Head to Head - Patriots 36-33 Sept 2017, Texans 27-23 Aug 2017, Patriots 34-16 Jan 2017
Another good season for the New England Patriots last year winning the AFC East division with a 13-3 record but they will be bitterly disappointed after losing the Superbowl final to the Eagles 41-33.
A solid pre-season for the Patriots winning three (Eagles, Giants, Redskins) and losing one (Panthers) suggesting once again they will be one of the teams fighting it out in the playoffs this season.
Houston Texans had a poor season last year finishing bottom of the AFC South division with a 4-12 record and they will need to improve somewhat if they are to feature this year.
The Texans have however had a pretty good pre-season winning three (Chiefs, 49ers, Cowboys) of their four games with their only loss being a 21-20 defeat against the Rams, maybe a sign of things to come this season.
Verdict - The Patriots at home will be hard to beat all season so preference is for them to get off to a good start here.
Ravens 1.32 v Bills 3.50
TIP - Over 40.5 Points @ 1.88 - BEST BET
TIP - Ravens 13+ @ 2.80
Head to Head - Ravens 13-9 Aug 2017, Ravens 13-7 Sept 2016, Bills 23-20 Sept 2013
Baltimore Ravens had a solid season last year finishing second in the AFC North with a 9-7 record but they missed out on a wild card spot to the Bills and the Titans (all three had 9-7 records).
The Ravens have excelled pre-season winning all four (Redskins, Dolphins, Colts, Rams) of their warm up games suggesting they can go one better this season and challenge the Steelers for top spot in the AFC North division.
A solid season also for the Buffalo Bills last year sneaking into the playoffs via a wild card with a 9-7 record which was good enough for second place in the AFC East, they did however lose their Wild Card Round match against the Jaguars 10-3.
Pre-season has seen the Bills win two (Browns, Bears) and lose two (Bengals, Panthers) so we haven't learned much from their warm-up games, they may well be on a par to finish this season with a similar record to last year.
Verdict - Looking good in pre-season the Ravens look set for a decent run at things this year, Ravens win comfortably.
Colts 1.61 v Bengals 2.38
TIP - Under 47.5 Points @ 1.89
TIP - Colts 1-6 @ 4.00
Head to Head - Colts 27-26 Aug 2018, Bengals 24-23 Oct 2017, Colts 7-6 Aug 2017
A poor season last year for the Indianapolis Colts finishing third in the AFC South with a 4-12 record, they will need a fair bit of improvement this season if they are to challenge the Titans and Jaguars for divisional honours.
The Colts have had a good pre-season winning three (Seahawks, 49ers, Bengals) and losing once to the Ravens 21-20 in a game that could have gone either way, things are looking promising for a better showing this season.
Not a bad season for the Cincinatti Bengals last season finishing a close third in the AFC North with a 7-9 record and they will be looking for a winning record this season to push for a playoff spot.
The Bengals have had a very good preseason winning three (Cowboys, Bills, Bears) and losing only once to their rivals this week by one point 27-26, a win here may well give them the confidence to challenge for a playoff spot this season.
Verdict - The Colts edged the Bengals last week in a pre-season friendly and the last three meetings suggest it could be very close, take your pick, Colts for me with home ground advantage the deciding factor.
Browns 2.72 v Steelers 1.48
TIP - Over 46 Points @ 1.92
TIP - Steelers 7-12 @ 5.00
Head to Head - Steelers 28-24 Dec 2017, Steelers 21-18 Sept 2017, Steelers 27-24 Jan 2017
The Pittsburgh Steeler won the AFC North last year with an impressive 13-3 record but they lost their Divisional Round match up against the Jaguars 45-42 which would have been a real kick in the teeth for them after looking good all year.
A good pre-season for the Steelers winning three (Eagles, Titans, Panthers) and losing only one to the Packers will have loosened them up nicely for another assault on becoming Superbowl champions, could this year be their year?
A season to forget last year for the Browns after losing every game and becoming only the second team to lose all 16 games and only the fifth team to fail to win all season in the NFL somce 1944.
A huge turn around in fortunes for the Browns in pre-season winning three of their four games (Giants, Lions, Eagles) with their only loss coming against the Bills, things are looking better in Cleveland right now!!
Verdict - Last three have been close between these two but the Steelers should have too much in the locker for the Browns once again.
Saints 1.22 v Buccaneers 4.60
TIP - Under 45 Points @ 1.89
TIP - Saints 13+ @ 2.20
Head to Head - Buccaneers 31-24 Dec 2017, Saints 30-10 Nov 2017, Saints 31-24 Dec 2016
New Orleans Saints topped the Strong NFC South last season with an 11-5 record, they won their Wild Card Round match against the Panthers 31-26 but fell short against the Vikings 29-24 in the Divisional Round.
A good pre-season for the Saints winning three (Rams, Chargers, Jaguars) of their four games with their only loss coming against the Cardinals, should be another good year for the Saints and they will be looking to top the division once more.
Not the worst season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last year but they did finish bottom of a strong NFC South division with a 5-11 record, they will only need to improve a little and maybe find a bit of luck to feature this year.
The Buccaneers started the pre-season off well winning their opening two games (Titans, Dolphins) but losses against the Jaguars and the Lions in recent weeks will not do their confidence any good, they need to start well this season to figure.
Verdict - With home ground advantage this should be an opening win for the Saints but the Buccaneers are decent odds to cause an upset here.
Dophins 2.03 v Titans 1.82
TIP - Under 45 Points @ 1.89
TIP - Dolphins 7-12 @ 6.80
Head to Head - Dolphins 16-24 Oct 2017, Titans 30-17 Oct 2016, Titans 21-10 Sept 2016
A mediocre season last year for the Dolphins finishing third in the AF East with a 6-10 losing record, they will need to improve to have any chance of finishing above the Bills or Patriots this season in a bid to reach the playoffs.
Pre-season has not really gone to plan for the Dolphins losing their opening three games (Ravens, Panthers, Buccaneers), they did however manage to pick up a win last week beating the Falcons 34-7, more needed and they must start well to figure.
Tennessee Titans had a good season last year finishing second in the AFC South with a 9-7 record and picking up a wild card spot, they advanced beating the Chiefs in their Wild Card Round match but lost heavily to the Patriots in the Divisional Round.
Not a good pre-season at all for the Titans losing all four of their games (Vikings, Steelers, Buccaneers, Packers), they will need to improve and find their game quickly if they are to have any chance of repeating last years efforts.
Verdict - Should be a close run affair with the Dolphins having home ground advantage slight preference is for them to get off to a winning start.

Vikings 1.38 v 49ers 3.15 - BEST BET
TIP - Over 46.5 Points @ 1.92
TIP - Vikings 13+ @ 2.78
Head to Head - Vikings 32-31 Aug 2017, 49ers 20-3 Sept 2015, 49ers 34-14 Aug 2013
A very good season for the Vikings last year winning the NFC North with a 13-3 record, they advanced to the Conference Championships Round but were no match for the Eagles on the day losing 38-7.
Three wins (Titans, Seahawks, Broncos) from their four pre-season games with their only loss coming against the tough Jaguars suggest the Vikings are set for another good season.
Not the worst season for the San Francisco 49ers last season but they did finish bottom of a strong NFC West finishing with a 6-10 record.
A very disappointing pre-season for the 49ers losing three of their games (Texans, Colts, Chargers), they did manage to pick up a win against the Cowboys but they will have to improve if they are to feature in the NFC West this season.
Verdict - The Vikings were hard to beat last season and I expect them to get this campaign off to a good start against the 49ers.
Chargers 1.55 v Chiefs 2.52
TIP - Under 47 Points @ 1.89
TIP - Chiefs 13+ @ 9.00
Head to Head - Chiefs 30-13 Dec 2017, Chiefs 24-10 Sept 2017, Chiefs 37-27 Jan 2017
A good season for the Los Angeles Chargers last year finishing second in the AFC West with a 9-7 record but they will be bitterly disappointed that they narrowly missed out on a wild card.
A mixed bag in their four pre-season games the Chargers won two (Seahawks, 49ers) and lost two (Cardinals and Saints) so it may well depend on how they start the season as to their playoff aspirations this season.
Kansas City Chiefs didn't have their best season last year but they did enough to win the AF West with a 10-6 record, they came up against the Titans in the Wild Card Round and were unlucky to get beat 21-20.
A par effort in pre-season for the Chiefs winning two (Falcons, Packers) and losing two (Texans, Bears) suggests they will be there or there about's again in the AFC West, this game may well be a pivotal point in who comes out of this division in top.
Verdict - The Chiefs look decent odds here, they have beaten the Chargers convincingly three times within 18 months and look to have the wood on their opponents.
Broncos 1.63 v Seahawks 2.34
TIP - Over 42 Points @ 1.93
TIP - Broncos 1-6 @ 4.00
Head to Head - Broncos 22-20 Aug 2015, Seahawks 26-20 Sept 2014, Broncos 21-16 Aug 2014
A poor season for the Denver Broncos last year saw them finish bottom of the AFC West division with a 5-10 losing record.
The Broncos started the pre-season poorly losing their opening two games (Vikings, Bears) but finished off strong with wins against the Redskins and Cardinals, they will have to get off to a good start and win the majority of their home games to feature.
A good season on the whole for the Seattle Seahawks last season finishing second in the NFC West with a 9-7 record but they missed out on a wild card and the playoffs.
A terrible pre-season for the Seahawks losing all four games (Colts, Chargers, Vikings, Raiders) will do little for their confidence and they will have to find another gear if they are to challenge for a playoff place this season.
Verdict - A poor pre-season for the Seahawks suggests they are out of touch so preference is for the home team to take the win, Broncos for me!
Cardinals 1.91 v Redskins 1.93
TIP - Under 44 Points @ 1.92
TIP - Cardinals 7-12 @ 6.00
Head to Head - Redskins 20-15 Dec 2017, Cardinals 31-23 Dec 2016, Cardinals 30-20 Oct 2014
The Arizona Cardinals will be hoping to improve on last season's third 8-8 record which was only good enough for a third place finish in the NFC West.
A good pre-season for the Cardinals winning their opening three fixtures (Chargers, Saints, Cowboys), they did lose last week against the Broncos but they have shown enough to suggest they will be there or there about's this season.
The Washington Redskins had a steady season last year finishing third in the NFC East with a 7-9 record, with a little improvement and a slice of luck this season they may well be pushing for a playoff spot.
A poor pre-season for the Redskins with only one win (Jets) and three defeats (Patriots, Broncos, Ravens) will be a concern for the team but those defeats will be quickly forgotten if they can get off to a winning start here.
Verdict - Both teams will be looking to reach the playoffs this season it may well be games like these that determine their fate, slight preference for the Cardinals with home advantage.
Panthers 1.66 v Cowboys 2.28
TIP - Under 42.5 Points @ 1.90
TIP - Panthers 7-12 @ 5.30
Head to Head - Panthers 33-14 Nov 2015, Cowboys 19-14 Oct 2012, Cowboys 21-27 Sept 2009
A good season for the Carolina Panthers saw them gain a wild card into the playoffs after securing second spot in the NFC South with an 11-5 record, they lost their Wild Card Round game to the Saints but a good season none the less.
With some tough games pre-season the Panthers looked good winning their opening three games against the Bills, Dolphins and Patriots only to lose their last match up against the Steelers, they should be challenging for top spot in the division this year.
The Dallas Cowboys had a fine season last year finishing second in the NFC East with a 9-7 record but they fell just short of making the playoffs via a wild card.
A terrible pre-season for the Cowboys has seen them lose all four matches (49ers, Bengals, Cardinals, Texans) and they will have to find their feet quickly if they are to have any chance of challenging in the division.
Verdict - Solid season for the Panthers last year, with home advantage here they should be able to get off to a winning start.
Packers 1.29 v Bears 3.75
TIP - Under 47 Points @ 1.90
TIP - Packers 7-12 @ 4.70
Head to Head - Packers 23-16 Nov 2017, Packers 35-14 Sept 2017, Packers 30-27 Dec 2016
A losing 7-9 season was only good enough for third place for the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North last season and they will be hoping to turn things around this year in a bid to reach the playoffs.
Pre-season started well for the Packers winning their opening two games (Titans, Steelers) but two defeats by the Raiders and the Chiefs in recent weeks will have dented their confidence, they can challenge this season but have to start well.
Chicago Bears finished bottom of the NFC North last year with a poor 5-11 record and they failed to win a divisional game from six attemps and only won one conference game from eleven.
Pre-season saw the Bears win two (Broncos, Chiefs) and lose two (Bengals, Bills) so the jury is still out on whether they will be a force this season, they need to start well that for sure and pick up a few more games on the road.
Verdict - Home advantage for the Packers may well be the telling point here against their NFC North rivals, Packers to edge out the Bears.
TUESDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2018
Lions 1.35 v Jets 3.35
TIP - Under 45 Points @ 1.94
TIP - Lions 13+ @ 2.72
Head to Head - Lions 16-6 Aug 2017, Lions 23-3 Aug 2015, Lions 24-17 Sept 2014
A good season for the Detroit Lions last year finishing second in the NFC North with a winning 9-7 record, they would however have been disappointed that they missed out on the playoffs.
A poor pre-season for the Lions losing three times against week opposition (Giants, Browns, Raiders) suggests they may well find things tougher this season, the did however manage to beat the Buccaneers 33-30.
The New York Jets also struggled last season finishing bottom of the AFC East with a poor 5-11 record after finishing the season off poorly losing their last four games.
The Jets have also had a poor pre-season picking up one win against the Falcons and subsequently losing their last three (Redskins, Giants, Eagles), they look like they are going to struggle once more this season.
Verdict - Should be a home win for the Lions but with both coming into this off poor pre-season I wouldn't be risking the house on any outcome here.
Raiders 2.76 v Rams 1.47
TIP - Under 50 Points @ 1.92
TIP - Rams 13+ @ 3.65
Head to Head - Rams 19-15 Aug 2018 Rams 24-21 Aug 2017, Raiders 18-3 Aug 2015,
Not the best season for the Oakland Raiders last year finishing third in the AFC West with an overall 6-10 losing record after losing their last four games.
A decent pre-season however for the Raiders winning three (Lions, Rams, Seahawks) and losing only once to the Rams may well give the Raiders renewed hope that they can have a winning season this year and challenge in the division.
Los Angeles Rams have a great season last year topping the NFC West with an 11-5 record but they would have been disappointed that they fell at the first hurdle in the playoffs losing their Wild Card Round match to the Falcons.
The Rams have been blowing hot and cold pre-season winning two (Raiders, Texans) and losing two (Ravens, Saints), they will need to win games of this nature if they are to repeat last years efforts in a division that looks stronger this time around.
Verdict - The Rams beat the Raiders a few weeks ago and they will more than likely beat them again here.
