Broncos 1.45 v Eels 2.75

TIP - Under 42.5 Points @ 1.88

TIP - Broncos 13+ @ - 2.45

The Broncos bounced back in style last week against the Roosters after suffering a surprise defeat in round 10 against the Eagles, two tries inside the final ten minutes did the trick for the home side with the final score 28-22.

Although the Broncos sit just outside the top 8 in 9th they are once again in striking distance and another win here will see them move up the table you would expect.

The Eels got off to a slow start against the Warriors last week and were never really in the game after going in at half time 12-2 down.

They acquitted themselves better in the second half but the damage was already done and a 24-14 defeat was a fair result.

Verdict - The Broncos only need to reproduce last weeks effort against the Roosters to win this one with something in hand.

Raiders 1.75 v Eagles 2.08

TIP - Over 42.5 Points @ 1.88

TIP - Raiders 13+ @ 3.70

After a string of decent results the Raiders had a tough assignment last weekend when they took on the Dragons at the Glen Willow Oval.

Canberra held their own but fell just short with the game finishing 25-18 to the home side but they will take a few positives from the defeat and hope to build on a solid display against the best team so far this season.

Manly after four straight defeats pulled off a big win last week against the Storm and in doing so stopped the rot on their travels after losing their opening five games this season on the road.

After a low scoring first half the Sea Eagles ran in four second half tries and more impressively kept the Storm from crossing the paint the whole 80 minutes.

Verdict - If Manly reproduce last weeks effort they could well win here but the Raiders have been playing well are are more consistent with their performances so preference is for them.

Cowboys 2.25 v Storm 1.64

TIP - Under 38.5 Points @ 1.88

TIP - Storm 1-12 @ 3.00

After last weeks 20-19 home defeat against the Roosters the Cowboys slip down to 15th on the ladder but with teams losing above them in key positions on the ladder they are still only six points behind 8th place.

A win here once again is a must for the Cowboys if they are to get back into finals contention, another loss here may well be too much for them to claw back.

Melbourne were beaten soundly last week at home 24-4 by the Sea Eagles and also failed to score a try throughout.

With that loss they slip down to 6th on the ladder and with three teams also on 12 points below them they can ill afford to lose another here.

Verdict - Both teams are struggling somewhat more than usual this season but generally when they play each other the Storm have the upper hand to preference is for them.

Roosters 1.30 v Titans 3.50

TIP - Under 46.5 Points @ 1.88

TIP - Roosters 1-12 @ 3.30

After such a dominant performance against the Warriors in round 10 you would have expected the Roosters to come away with the points last week against the Broncos but the Broncos had other ideas.

In a close game the Roosters conceded two late tries to lose the game 28-22 and in doing so they slip down to 6th on the ladder.

Gold Coast after losing their last four games bounced back last weekend beating the Knights 33-26, with the game tied going into the last ten minutes a try by Alexander Brimson was the turning point and was enough to secure the two points.

The win moves the Titans up to 13th on the ladder and only two wins outside the top eight and if they can somehow manage another win here they would be right in the mix once again before their bye and a chance to rest.

Verdict - I expect the Roosters to return to winning ways but the Titans may keep them honest in this one making it hard work for the Roosters to get away.

Warriors 1.90 v Rabbitohs 1.94

TIP - Over 37.5 Points @ 1.88

TIP - Warriors 13+ @ 4.25 - BEST BET

After being humbled in round 10 by the Roosters at home the Warriors bounced back last week in fine style when they took on the Eels at ANZ Stadium.

After a clinical first half performance the Warriors always had the game under control and winning 24-14 maintaining their solid away form this season.

South Sydney come here on a bit of a role after winning four of their last five, last weeks performance against the Cowboys on the road was another impressive display and although not at their best they deserved their 20-19 victory.

With that win they now find themselves in the top four on the ladder but they have three away games on the trot now so they will need to be at their best.

Verdict - I am hoping the Warriors get away well, if they do they may well bring the Bunnies back down to earth.

Panthers 2.05 v Dragons 1.77

TIP - Under 38.5 Points @ 1.88

TIP - Penrith 1-12 @ 3.15

The Panthers stay in second place on the ladder after defeating the Tigers 16-2 last week, it may well not have been a classic but the Panthers showed that they can grind when needing too.

No need to spell out the obvious here, this one will be huge for the Panthers and their confidence, a win will put them level with the Dragons and it's all to play for.

After losing on the road in round 10 to the Rabbitohs the Dragons faced the Raiders on home turf last week and as expected they bounced back winning 25-18.

The Dragons again were a little under par to what they have shown this season but they did enough to take the points and maintain their top spot on the ladder

Verdict - Game of the round here and it could go either way but the Panthers are the home side and that may well be just enough of an advantage.

Knights 2.70 v Sharks 1.47

TIP - Under 44 Points @ 1.88 - BEST BET

TIP - Knights 1-12 @ 3.85

Newcastle suffered their sixth loss of the season last week when they narrowly went down to the Titans 33-26 on the road.

The game was in the balance throughout but a Titans try in the last ten minutes was enough for the home side to spoil the Knights evening.

Cronulla after winning five on the spin are now fifth on the ladder and making a real charge in a bid to overhaul the teams above them after a slow start to this years campaign.

Last weeks 22-16 victory against the Bulldogs was a typical Sharks performance, dogged in defence and seizing opportunities when they can about.

Verdict - Newcastle have the home advantage and they may well make that count in a close affair but this one is a coin toss for me.

Tigers 1.64 v Bulldogs 2.25 - BEST BET

TIP - Under 36 Points @ 1.88

TIP - Tigers 1-12 @ 3.00

The Tigers have now lost four of their last five games after suffering yet another defeat last week this time at the hands of the Panthers 16-2.

The Tigers defence did their job as usual but they didn't create enough when they had the ball in hand to ever trouble the Panthers.

Canterbury did enough in defeat last week to come away from the game feeling positive but there are no points on offer when you lose and their 22-16 defeat against the Sharks will count for nothing.

The Bulldogs have also lost four out of their last five games but their position on the ladder is a lot more precarious as they find themselves down in 14th with only three wins to their name this season.

Verdict - Expect a low scoring game here, both teams struggling so the home advantage sways me in favour of the Tigers, only just mind!!
