Eagles 1.75 v Cowboys 2.20
TIP - Under 38.5 Points @ 1.88 - BEST BET
TIP - Cowboys 1-12 @ - 3.20
After their impressive win on the road in round 12 against the Storm the Eagles were up against the Raiders last week trying to make it two wins on the bounce away after suffering five straight losses.
Manly had the game under control until the last five minutes when they conceded a try which was duly converted to make the game 20-20 and right on the buzzer it was the Raiders who managed to slot home the field goal at the second attempt to win the game.
The Cowboys took on the Storm at home last week and once again found themselves on the wrong side of a low scoring affair.
The game finished 7-6 to the visitors condemning the Cowboys to their fifth home defeat of the season from only seven games, not the fortress of previous years.
Verdict - One of those games that is pretty much a coin toss, the Cowboys were unlucky last week so I'll take a chance on them.
Friday 1st June 2018
Rabbitohs 2.40 v Sharks 1.57
TIP - Over 37.5 Points @ 1.88
TIP - Rabbitohs 13+ @ 6.20
After beating the Warriors 30-10 on the road last week the Rabbitohs have moved up to third on the ladder and are really pushing the teams above them.
The game was never in doubt with the Bunnies running in four first half tries making the second half all but damage control for the home side.
Cronulla are also on a charge and find themselves up in the top four after smashing the Knights 48-10 last week taking their winning streak to six in the process.
They will come into this full of confidence and ready to take on the Bunnies in front of their home crowd, another win here will see them leapfrog the Rabbitohs too.
Verdict - I'm going to stick with the Bunnies here, they are carrying their own form coming in and they are a decent price to boot.
Saturday 2nd June 2018
Eels 1.50 v Knights 2.60
TIP - Under 39.5 Points @ 1.88
TIP - Knights 1-12 @ 3.85
Another loss for the Eels last week means that they stay at the foot of the table but their performance against the Broncos in their 18-10 defeat was much improved.
Parramatta have not been overly effected by the impending Origin series so they may well be able to pick their third win of the season here.
The Knights have now lost four of their last five games after suffering a heavy loss at home against the Sharks last week with the game finishing 48-10.
Newcastle now find themselves two wins outside the top eight and can ill afford to lose another one here, some key players missing due to Origin will not help their cause.
Verdict - Both teams are struggling but they Knights on the whole have been better than the Eels all season so preference is for them here.
Sunday 3rd June 2018
Roosters 2.00 v Tigers 1.80 - BEST BET
TIP - Under 38.5 Points @ 1.88
TIP - Roosters 1-12 @ 3.15 - BEST BET
The Roosters took a while to get going last week against the Titans but once they hit their stride they piled on the points scoring four second half tries.
Sydney have been hit hard with Origin call ups so four of their best players will be missing but they have the strength off the bench to still win this.
The Tigers got back to winning ways last week when they beat the Bulldogs 14-10 in one of those typical dogged Tigers performances we have seen this year.
With no Origin complications they can set about solidifying their place in the top eight while other teams may well lose points over the next few rounds.
Verdict - The Tigers came away 10-8 victors against the Roosters in the opening round this season but I am going to take the Roosters to reverse that result even though they are without key players.
