Raiders 1.95 v Panthers 1.80

TIP - Points @ 1.88

TIP - Panthers 1-12 @

A week off for the Raiders last week so they will come into this rested which can only be a positive up against the top team in the land.

With Canberra sitting four points adrift of the top eight they really need a win to keep tabs with the teams above them.

The Panthers also had the week off last week after convincingly beating the Dragons in round 12 to move to the top of the ladder.

The Panthers are showing that this year they are a real live chance of finishing top of the ladder and they have shown enough already to suggest they can win everything this season.

Verdict - Although they are on the road the Panthers have been a team possessed in recent weeks and they may well keep their streak going here.

Titans 2.40 v Rabbitohs 1.37

TIP - Points @ 1.88

TIP - Rabbitohs 13+ @

After losing four of their last five games the Titans would have certainly welcomed a week off last week to recharge and hopefully regain a bit of form.

They find themselves down in 14th on the ladder and six points off the top eight so they will need to find their early season form soon if not to be an also-ran this year.

Souths with key players missing last week due to Origin duties maintained their decent form beating the Sharks 22-14 and in doing so made it five on the spin.

They will have their Origin players available once again for this but they may well rest a couple due to their solid effort last week without them.

Verdict - Souths should have to much fire power for the Titans and if they reproduce last weeks effort should win comfortably.

Eagles 2.05 v Warriors 1.73

TIP - Points @ 1.88

TIP - Warriors 1-12 @

After suffering a heartbreaking loss to the Raiders in round 12 the Eagles looked a different side in last weeks home defeat to the Cowboys.

The game finished 26-12 with the Eagles looking a little tired in the dying stages and they may well need a week off to freshen up.

After losing at home 30-10 against the Rabbitohs in round 12 the Warriors had a well needed week off last week and their freshness may well be the deciding factor here.

Two losses from their last three has seen the Warriors slip to 6th on the ladder but they are still only two points adrift of top spot so if they find their early season form once more they can certainly charge up the ladder.

Verdict - Might be a close one this with both teams not at their best, the Warriors have the better form coming in so may well take the points.

Eels 3.00 v Cowboys 1.38

TIP - Points @ 1.88

TIP - Cowboys 1-12 @

Another loss for the Eels last weekend has almost certainly ended their season, only two wins on the board they find themselves bottom of the table ten points adrift of 8th place.

They were never at the races last week going down 30-4 at ANZ stadium and it was only a late try that spared their blushes of being whitewashed.

The Cowboys kept their season alive last weekend by beating Manly 26-12 on the road with one of their best performances of the season.

They are still six points adrift of 8th place but they have done the near impossible before and last weeks win may have been just what the doctor ordered.

Verdict - You cannot back the Eels at any price with their recent results so it's the Cowboys for me in a low scoring affair.

Sharks 1.47 v Tigers 2.60

TIP - Points @ 1.88

TIP - Sharks 13+ @

After winning six on the spin and going into last weeks game against the Bunnies as heavy favourites the Sharks succumbed to a dominant Rabbitohs outfit 22-14.

The Sharks always looked second best throughout the match and the final score was a little flattering to be honest as they should have gone down by more.

Wests once again showed that they are a team that doesn't lie down in last weeks defeat away against the Roosters but they couldn't overturn an 8-2 half time deficit to claim a much needed victory.

The game finished 16-14 another low scoring affair involving the Tigers, their defence is sound but they need to put more points on the board if they are to challenge the top four.

Verdict - I expect the Sharks to bounce back here, put last weeks performance to one side and they look decent odds to walk away with this one.

Storm 1.28 v Broncos 3.50

TIP - Points @ 1.88

TIP - Broncos 1-12 @

After their 7-6 victory on the road against the Cowboys in round 12 the Storm had a week off last weekend so they will be fresh for this encounter.

Not the best season for the Storm so far this year after dominating last season but they are still in the mix and a win here may well set them on their way for an improved second half of the season.

The Broncos also had the week off last week and they too would have been thankful for the rest as they are another team that have looked under par this year.

They come into this off the back two home wins so they carry a bit of form into this and the odds on offer look pretty juicy against a Storm outfit that has not set the world alight in 2018.

Verdict - Way overs the Broncos here so I'll take a punt that they can upset the Storm on their home turf.

Monday 11th June 2018

Bulldogs 2.65 v Dragons 1.45

TIP - Points @ 1.88

TIP - Dragons 1-12 @

The Bulldogs find themselves 15th on the ladder with only three wins to their name this season but things could have been so much different with so many close games going against them.

If they can find a few more points in their remaining matches they may well be able to climb up the ladder and get on a run but they are up against tough opposition here.

The Dragons were torn apart by the Panthers in round 12 so last weeks bye looks like it came at just the right time for them.

They now site second on the ladder after spending many weeks heading the pack so their 28-2 defeat in round 12 may have been just the wake up call that was needed.

Verdict - I expect the Dragons to be too strong for the Bulldogs but it may well be another close affair that Canterbury come out on the wrong side of.
